Ok, maybe I can't say that it was a disaster, but it was definitely a problem.
The ProblemGrady accidentally knocked Mark's water bottle and caused the floor to be wet. He tried to salvage the situation by placing some rags over it, hoping that the water will soak up. Then Miss Soh came to class and was angry as it was not an efficient way of solving a problem.
Future Implication- Someone might slip as the floor was slippery. Having slipped, he would have injuries as he will fall down.
- The floor will be dirty if someone stepped on the puddle of water.
Actions Taken
Only Dylan, Brian, Mark and Grady continued to try and dry the floor after Dylan thought of a solution. Then Miss Soh was more furious as it was a class problem and not theirs.
My Thoughts
I feel that I was wrong for not lending a helping hand to those that were cleaning up the mess. This would result in the less time wasted as well as to speed up the process. We also did not show team spirit as a class as none of us, excluding Dylan, Brian, Mark and Grady, did not even bother to help. This is not a display of the team spirit sons of Hwachong should have. In the future, if such a thing happens again, I will definitely try to work together as a team.
