After discussing this topic with my parents, I have found out that they feel that 'Buying lottery tickets is just a means of earning some money. Hence, they purchase them'.

Ultimately, I condemn lottery in Singapore. Lottery is a form of gambling. Even if you have a lot of luck, it is just a false sense of hope. This bogus satisfaction is the gratification of winning the lottery.

Just like any other forms of gambling, be it poker or mahjong, it only gives you the desire to earn more money. It is just an instant pleasure. It will only cause your fingers to get burnt. Earning money is one thing. Playing it time and again is another.

If you buy lottery for the first time and won a small sum of money, the thought in the mind is that you will earn more money. If that is the case, it is sheer luck. Gambling only brings you a moment of esctasy. In the end, you will lose it all.

The worst scenario is a a family breakout. That is the worst. However, exercising self-control while gambling is a situation that is close to zero. Hence, the best choice of action is to never touch it.

Henceforth, I have chosen to condemn this form, as well as all other forms, of gambling.

Robert Browning~The Famous Poet...

Although Robert Browning is not a very intriguing poet, he has this sort attraction in his poems that it puts the reader into a trance, allowing the reader to think deeply and forming a scene in the mind.

“Grow old along with me! The best is yet to be, the last of life, for which the first was made. Our times are in his hand who saith, 'A whole I planned, youth shows but half; Trust God: See all, nor be afraid!'”

As such, I am going to do a biographical post about him.

Robert Browning was born 7 May 1812, first child and only son of Robert Browning and Sarah Wiedemann Browning. Robert was an impulsive, fearless little boy who was also rather a prodigy, writing poems and reading Homer at a very young age. He learned many languages and devoured his father's history books. He also liked to read books that were considered rather shocking and not quite suitable for children. Robert also had quite a habit of falling for older women, as his father had done. This first happened when Robert was barely in his teens and he apparently developed a crush on a woman named Eliza Flower, then in her early twenties.

At 16, Robert began attending the newly-formed London University, established for those Nonconformists like Robert who were barred from Oxford and Cambridge. Robert attended for only just over a year, though thanks to his reading, he was really quite an educated man. He also was quite arrogant at times. By the time he was 20, he was convinced that he would be a great poet, if not the great poet. His family had enough money to support him in these poetical endeavours, a good thing as he got off to a very rocky start. His first published work, Pauline, was considered not very good, but promising; his second, Paracelsus, was well-received and Robert was always proud of it. He even wrote several stage plays (between 1836 and 1843) which were also well-received, though quite forgotten today. It was in 1840 that he really had some problems.

In March of that year, Robert published Sordello, a Poem in Six Books, at his father's expense. Sordello was an obscure Mantuan poet/warrior of the early 13th century, and though the poem has many beautifully descriptive passages, no one really understood it. To make matters even worse, three years earlier, a woman named Mrs. Busk had published her own poem on Sordello, done in a lilting, nearly doggerel sort of style. But these problems aside, Robert was beginning to really hit his poetical stride. Between 1841 and 1846, he published four books, mainly collections of his shorter poems that would become among his most famous works.

It was about this time that Robert's correspondence with Elizabeth Barrett began, when he wrote to thank her for a flattering mention of his work in one of her poems. Even in this very first letter, he told her that he loved her, which alarmed Elizabeth immensely. Still, he managed to meet her face to face in May of 1845 and marry her in September of that year. The happy couple went to Florence and were enchanted by it, finally settling in the famous Casa Guidi.

They lived like hermits, the normally gregarious Robert content to stay at home with the usually ill Elizabeth. On 9 March 1849, Robert Wiedemann Barrett Browning was born, though when Robert's mother Sarah died later that month, never knowing she had a grandson, Robert was devastated. It was Elizabeth and her poems that finally pulled him through.

In 1855, Robert's collection of short poems, Men and Women, was published, an excellent book that received good but not great reviews. But he was mostly neglecting his poetry in order to be with Elizabeth. Her death on 28 June 1861 was more a relief than a shock, as she had been fading badly for some time. Robert re-dedicated himself to his poetry and to his son.

By now, Robert was truly famous, finally one of THE great poets, as he had always wanted. He received two honorary degrees and was much admired, though generally from a distance, as many considered him to be rather ill-tempered. It may surprise you to learn (I know it surprised me) that he actually proposed to another woman ten years after Elizabeth's death, one Lady Louisa Ashburton, but she turned him down. Robert really disliked her after that, even though he told everyone that the proposal was for Pen's sake.

Robert wrote a great deal right up to the end of his life, though he was plagued by colds and bronchitis; his last book, Asolando, was published the day of his death, 12 December 1889. Robert had always assumed he would be buried beside Elizabeth, but as that cemetary had been closed to further burials, he instead received a grand funeral at Westminster Abbey.

Chaos ruled OK in the classroomas

bravely the teacher walked in

the nooligans ignored him

I'm going to teach you a lesson

He picked on a boy who was shouting

and throttled him then and there

then garrotted the girl behind him

"fingers, feet or toes"

He threw the sword at a latecomer

it struck with deadly aim

then pulling out a shotgun

1. How are the figurative language used in the poem? Give the specific word(s), explain what type of figurative language it is and why the poet chose to use this figurative language?

Figurative language in this poem is mainly used to emphasise the situation the teacher is in and the plight of the students.

The immediate use of personification in the first veerse is the portion where states that 'Chaos ruled OK'. This assumes that chaos is the head of the class and has the ability to obtain human abilties. The reason for the personification is an emphasis to the havoc caused by the students.

'Nooligans', in the first para, is a hyperbole which exaggerates the students chaos. This shows the extent of the noise in the class and the reason the teacher resorts to the punishment.

The word 'lesson' in the 2nd verse, is used as a substitution for punishment. Lesson is used to place emphasis that it is more of a punishment that causes the students to learn from their errors, whereas punishment is a lighter act.

2.Tell us why you like this poem in no less than 100 words.

I enjoy this poem as I felt it was a poem that is able to pique the readers interest. Upon reading the poem, it will intrigue the reader and allows the reader to ponder about the next portion of the poem. This attention-grabbing poems is my favourite type of literature and is largely similar to 'The Lottery'. It is a poem that has an irony hidden whithin and allows the reader to think deeply.

Truth...

Truth. What is this? If majority thinks that that is the truth, is it the truth?

This is what I am about to touch on today.

Truth, if you think that that is correct, is it necessary that that is the truth?

Again, this is a debatable topic. I shall give you and example for each of the questions.

Example #1: More than half of the class thinks that Man U is the best, but is it necessarily the best? Didn't Barcelona beat them? The point I am driving at is not that Man U sucks, is just that their supremacy is quite temporary. Think about it. Will they continue to reign supreme in the future, they might not. There aare many other teams with a brighter future. Young stars that will be the future of the club. Hence, the majority might not be right.

Example #2: I think that this is correct. I think that this project is the best. Does that mean that it's the best? No, this is a matter of perspective.Maybe I think this is the best, but another friend hates it. One man's meat is another man's poison. In the end, our point of view may allow each of us to find a loophole in the project.

As such, truth is debatable as none of us knows what is truth.

Beauty is...

What is beauty? What is true beauty? This two questions wants to find out the what can be deemed as beauty, the base of the question. The only difference is the additional word in the second question, true.

Many of us feel that comes from the outer side, facial features, body build and such. However, the outer beauty of a person is only temporary. This is of little significance. It does not have significant values trapped within it.

Let's the examples that I gave. First, I will start with facial features. If one is very pretty when she was in her twenties, does that mean that she will stay pretty forever? No, she will not. No matter how hard you try to maintain a beautiful face, it will be tainted, with wrinkles whatsoever. This is temporary. Men is also the same. No matter how handsome he used to be, his skin will also develop wrinkles, maybe he will also be forced to wear hideous and thick spectacles.

Next, body build. So what if you have six abs now, it will wear off. Even if you maintain a healthy life, you will most likely lose the muscles you have obtained. It is temporary.

Those are beauty, but true beauty lies in the heart. The beauty in the heart is the true beauty. Beauty that is everlasting, valuable and significant. This includes all moral values that is in the heart. This are those of the inner heart, the heart that wants to sacrifice for the sake of others. This is the beauty of the world. The true beauty.

Kind-hearted. One of the essence of true beauty. If you know that this kind-hearted person, no matter how ugly she or he mat be, the thought and efforts of that person is eternal. This is remembered by many. The inner beauty of a person.

Pulau Ubin: A Cultural Artefect?

As you all know, Pulau Ubin is one of the most visited tourists attractions in Singapore. There are also many others, namely Chinatown, Kampong Glam and Little India. This are all the tourist attractions in Sinagapoore with a historical value in it. I'm sure Pulau Ubin is also a meaningful place to visit, thinking that you are able to view the Singapore in the past.

Why do I bring this up all of a sudden? During a trip to Pulau Ubin on Sunday, I realised that the island has been transformed. it was not the usual dilapidated houses that we are able to enjoy.

The Pulau Ubin I know of is one with historical value, something that existed to show the world what was Sinagpore like in the past. However, there are many renovated areas, little original buildings, except for those that have residents there. This is not the one that I know of. It seems to fresh to the cultured brian, one that has lived and visited many places that is etched with a train of memories. Yet, this place can't be found in my mind. There is no sense of nostalgia, I realise that there are barely a place that I feel at home with.

Still, the slightest tinge of nostalgia is the joy experienced when cycling around the island. The feeling will allow your mind to throw all your worries off, all your furies away and all your troubles away. The cooling sensation is felt carressing your face, up the hill and down the hill, you think of nothing. The only worry I presume is that you are afraid to fall like that actor and break all your teeth. Hence, we should go there to unwind, take it as a form of recreation.

Sadly, the fun might be gone after you realise how much the beautiful island you enjoyed has change.

Secondary 1: The First Semester!

The first day I entered the school premises, with a heart that awaits a fun-filled year with the new-found friends; it turned out to be a semester of joy, terror and excitement.

On the first day, all was conservative. Barely anyone had an open heart to embrace reality, either keeping to themselves or hanging out with their school mates. The first day, the most relaxed day throughout the semester, was entertained by our form teacher who started the semester off with a scolding. Actually, most were laughing as a classmate shouted a word that is rather rude when she entered. Then, she taught us something about moral values. However, it was entertaining, knowing that the class had a joker in the ranks.

During LA, it was again a day with unexpected ecstasy. The class was asked to introduce themselves. In a typical boy's school, most of us were boisterous and lively, enjoying soccer, basketball, wrestling, most things that have something to do with sports. Some of the quieter students, like Hui Ming, enjoyed the essence of studying and doing well in school. This was of course, until some jokers like me made a joke out of something. When Jim said that he likes Liverpool, I contradicted him by stating that I hate Liverpool. This caused many to laugh and the class started to contradict one another. A moment of bliss engulfed most of us, upon finding out that our language command was good, being placed in a class that has an advanced learning curriculum.

As usual, my love for Maths continued to grow, especially after the introduction of the first Maths lesson, being grouped together to play a game that requires much thinking. This was enriching. Every first lesson of each subject had the same fun in it, leaving us in seventh heaven and anticipating what was going to happen in the times to come.

However, it was not what I had expected. In an unforeseen twist of fate, the semester went from perfection to neutralization, from neutralization to complete boredom, from boredom to a horrible sense of disgust, from the sense of disgust to a terrifying dreadfulness.

When the bonding of the class settled, the steady increase in the difficulty of secondary school education took its toll. It was started of like the usual primary school curriculum, not as tiring and furious as the improved education. It was neutralized. We had a horrible time coping with it. Let's see, from, 4 core subjects, jumping to 7. You will know what it feels like only when you experienced it yourself.

It then took another turn that brought about much fatigue. Despite a lively change that was taken into our lives by the CCA Orientation, it was the time when the boredom from the relentless hours studying for our test. The time was the worst ever possible as the festive mood from PSLE all of a sudden ended our momentum and we had to pick up pace when the iron was barely hot. It was a time for he racking of brains, knocking out from the bare minds the slight fulcrum to start of the intelligence within us in order to pass our test.

The horrible sense of disgust comes about when you face the fierce and harsh reality, sitting in the increasing tension of the examination hall, with the hearts thumping wildly, awaiting the perfect opportunity to leap into your mouth. The examination sheet is placed on your table, you are only given 40 minutes. Inching your fingers forward slowlyy to your pen, the invigilator has yet to start the exam. When it starts, flip over the paper and find out that you did not understand a thing at all. No matter how you scratch your scalp, bite your nails, unleashing all the bad habits, your stomach will be twisted into an upsetting sense of disgust. Receiving the marked test paper from your teachers' hands, you will receive another shock, either a temporary moment of bliss or another moment of disgust.

My terrifying dreadfulness started when the new term started. Most of my teachers had a bad day, most had frustration. Fury, rage, whatever you hate, detest, you will get it. The teachers were either pissed when we were to noisy or when we didn't want to talk. You keep to silent, they get irritated, you get to rowdy, they get annoyed. To top it of, a another bad result slip for the term will be the icing on the cake.

What is Happiness?

'Happiness' can be defined as an emotion that makes you feel good about an accomplishment or something as such.

However, is there true happiness? Everyone knows about happiness, but has anyone heard of true happiness?

Many phrase describe happiness as a perfect thing, but is there really such a thing as pure bliss or a perfect fantasy?

My answer is no. I think that there is happiness in this world, but happiness will never be to a great extend until it is entirely pure. You go to any guy who had just taken drugs. You can ask him how he feels. He will just answer that he feels high. Is this happiness? You may argue that it is, but it is only temporary, and that is the point I am driving at on happiness.

All emotions related to happiness are short-termed. Be it joy, glee whatsoever, they are all temporary. Imagine if you strike lottery. The immediate reaction in your body, ecstasy. Even if you win a lot of money, you will still have a problem in future. You might get knocked down by a car and need the money for medical fees, your mum is fatally ill or an economic crisis. Anything can happen.

The route to life is never an easy one. You will always have to take a difficult path to life no matter what. Nothing is perfect. The naive young children out there, your favourite teachers are imperfect. The stubborn teenagers, you are not perfect, learn to look at the other side of the coin. The naggy parents, sometimes your ideals when teaching your children are not perfect.

As fallible creatures, no man is perfect. Nothing is perfect, a high-tech device might not be perfecct. Take the iPhone for example. It does not have a bluetooth device which most phones have. No one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes.

Buy a PSP, feel happy about it and smash it the next day to feel depressed. Think about what I have said about happiness.

Steorotypes of HCI Students!

Today, during assembly, the panel discussion talked about Steorotypes of HCI Students. On a Facebook Survey, it has been said that the general public thinks HCI students are nerdy, diligent and reserved. RI students are naturally smarter, also found out from the Facebook Survey.

Hwachong students are nerdy, diligent and reserved? The term 'Nerdy' means that we are also smart, and also have the virtue, "Diligence', to further improve our intelligence. In what way, is Raffles students naturally smarter than us? Their 'smartness' is in terms of their intelligence, I do not deny that. However, Hwachong students are holistically smarter. We work smart. This is shown through the constant hard work displayed and the ACE projects we summit. The ACE projects shows our hard work due to the fact that it requires the initiative of the students to do these projects. This is also a display of smart working as we can salvage all the marks lost in the test. We play smart. We can control when we get rowdy. We display the self-control needed during the tough schedule experienced. We plan smart. We are able to balance our studies with our EP3s. An elite sport has training 3-5 times a week. A normal sport has 2-4 times of traning. This shows the planning we have done as we also obtain the maximum potential of our results, scoring a distinction in most of our subjects.

Hard-working, like Boxer in Animal Farm? Well, we are not to that extend as we are not that hard-working, at least knowing when to relax. Our hardwork is what sets us apart from the rest, a slight tinge of diligence is better thann none. If you don't study, you will not do well. You reap what you sowed. If you try to focus on your studies too much, you will be so stressed out. If you relax to much, you will not remember what you have to do, being to engrossed by the game. A balanced curriculm for studying, with a blend of both work and play woukd be the most ideal. I can see that we can obtain good results through the hard work displayed.

Reserved, are all Hwachong students like that? Well, some are more quiet than others. However, most again exercise self-restraint, only speaking when necessary and when it calls for it. It is not fair to call us reserved. What at all happened to the OP-oriented students in classes? Though we may seem quiet to many of the general public, not as talkative as the students from neighbourhood schools, but we are all very attentive to the situation we are in before we attempt to speak. Pathetic Results!

Okok, I don't know what to talk about. So many people are asking me to post on something. Since I got back my results, I think doing a reflective writing on my results, my pathetic results, and feel guilty about it.

LA Narrative Essay - 18/30 ( 60/100 )
~ a pathetic B4 to start of with my results I have gotten back.

Infocomm Studies - 30/50 ( 60/100 )
~ another pathetic B4 to give me my "desired" MSG of 4.0.

Maths Test Three - 36/40 ( 90/100 )
~ my first A1, always my forte, but MSG only is 3.0.

Geography Test 2 - 20.5/30 ( 68.3/100 )
~ a B3, so sad sia, half more a mark to get an A2. Arh......!

Cheena Test 2 - 51/1oo
~ second last in class, but still managed to pass. C6 sia, MSG of 3.6!

Science Test 2 - 36/40 ( 90/100 )
~ third highest mark, A1. But then the MSG still 3.17!

Ok, now the reflections. I feel that the marks I have obtained can be improved. LA, I didn't really do well as I didn't hand in the practice. Infocomm Studies, well, I suck at this computer stuff. Maths, always good, and the test was quite easy. Geography, I knew how to do the paper, but a bit careless. Cheena, always hated it, but have to improve next term. Science, happy, but could have gotten 39, if the teacher did not follow the answer key. Sianzzz... -_-

My aim, by next term, Maths and Science to preserve my good results. LA has to improve as I should have the potential to do well. Geography is better than before and would be able to do better than now. Cheena, will start mugging to get a B3. Infocomm Studies should be able to improve as my HTML skills are better than many. Byezzz~~

Chelsea are So Screwed!

Ok, this is why I say that.

Real Madrid 2-6 Barcelona

Barcelona took a giant step towards winning the Primera Division title after crushing arch rivals and nearest challengers Real Madrid in stunning fashion at the Bernabeu.

Thierry Henry and Lionel Messi both netted braces while Carles Puyol and Gerard Pique were also on the scoresheet as Pep Guardiola's treble-chasers inflicted a first league defeat on in-form Madrid since beating the reigning champions at the Nou Camp in December.

Madrid had picked up 52 points from a possible 54 since that match, but their hopes of a third successive title now look sunk after they fell seven points adrift of Barca with only four games remaining.

Barca, who also hold the better head-to-head record against their rivals, can now clinch the title next weekend if they beat Villarreal and Madrid lose to Valencia.

In last season's corresponding fixture Barca had a night to forget, starting with the chastening experience of giving hosts Madrid a guard of honour and applauding them onto the pitch for having just won the league, and ending with a 4-1 hammering.

It was a completely different story tonight, though they needed to bounce back from an early deficit as Madrid went ahead inside 14 minutes through Gonzalo Higuain.

Sergio Ramos sent over a cross from the right and Higuain rose unmarked to head home his 19th league goal of the season to send the Bernabeu wild.

Barca need not have worried though as within six minutes of that goal they had turned the game on its head with strikes from Henry and Puyol.

The lively Henry drew Barca level in the 18th minute when Ramos failed to cut out Lionel Messi's through-ball and the Frenchman coolly rolled his shot past Iker Casillas.

Henry was also involved in the goal that put Barca ahead soon after, winning a free-kick to the left of the area that Xavi curled into the area where the unmarked Puyol headed home inside the near post.

It was a two-minute spell which could have helped decide the title, as after that turnaround Barca went into overdrive.

The visitors rode their luck briefly when goalkeeper Victor Valdes did well to deny Arjen Robben, but otherwise it was home custodian Casillas who was under the cosh.

He produced three superb saves to deny Lionel Messi (twice) and Samuel Eto'o in the space of six minutes as Barca repeatedly swept through the home defence.
Casillas could do nothing to prevent Messi putting Barca 3-1 up in the 35th minute though after Madrid committed defensive suicide.

Lassana Diarra was caught in possession by Xavi deep inside Madrid territory, and with the home side's backline nowhere in the vicinity, Messi had all the time in the world to collect the ball, stroll into the area and slide a low shot past Casillas.

That was a bitter blow for Madrid after seemingly weathering the worst of the Barca storm, but it was no more than Guardiola's side deserved.
Barca continued to look the more likely to get another goal as well, with Dani Alves testing Casillas with a long-range free-kick just before the break before Iniesta went close at the start of the second half.

It was actually Madrid who would find the breakthrough though thanks to Ramos.

Iniesta was adjudged to have fouled Robben just outside the box, and from the resulting kick Ramos headed home Robben's cross at the far post to give Madrid a much-needed boost.

That euphoria was to last all of a minute before Henry restored Barca's two-goal advantage.

Xavi picked out the Frenchman's run in behind Ramos and Henry reached the ball before the outreaching Casillas. Madrid fans could only watch in horror as the Barca striker's shot slowly rolled into the net.

That knocked the stuffing out of Madrid, and they were left facing total humiliation after Messi made it 5-2 in the 75th minute, the Argentinian magician picking up a pass from Xavi before beating Casillas at his near post.
The nightmare had not finished there for Madrid though, and Pique wrapped up the scoring eight minutes from time with what was Barca's 100th league goal of the season.

Barca can now look forward to their midweek Champions League semi-final trip to Chelsea confident that they virtually have the Primera Division title wrapped up.

In Saturday's other Spanish games Numancia climbed off the bottom of the league after beating Malaga 2-0, while Seville won 2-0 at Villarreal with Luis Fabiano and Frddie Kanoute scoring the goal.

Barcelona, will own Chelsea in the Champions League with this kind of form. Byezzz~~

Swine Flu Alert!

On 30 Apr 2009, Ministry of Health had raised the pandemic alert level fr to Orange. With effect from Monday (04 May 09), schools will heighten health measures.

Please study the instructions carefully as they will impact you once you step into school on Monday. Do inform your parents accordingly, especially if they are fetching you to school or picking you up from school.

1. Separate Flag-Raising Ceremony on Monday (4 May 09)

The High School and College Sections will have their own Flag-raising ceremony on Monday (4 May) so that the reinforcement of the instructions can be targeted to a more specific audience.

2. Measure your Temperature BEFORE coming to school

All staff/students must measure their own temperature before coming to school. The new trigger point: 38.1C So, if your temperature is AT or More Than 38.1C, you are NOT to report to school. If you are sick, you must not come to school even if your temperature is <38.1C.

If you were in affected countries with confirmed swine flu cases (US, Mexico, S Korea or HK) during the past 7 days, please self-quarantine yourself at home till 7 days have passed.

As temperature taking execise is conducted everyday, every student must carry with him/her an oral digital thermometer (ODT). You can purchase an ODT at any of the school bookstores if they still have stocks. All temperature measurements will be carried out in classrooms. HS CSE students and College students will be informed about their locations for the temperature taking exercise.

This is from the SMB. Swine Flu has been on the rise since it originated in Mexico a few weeks ago. This has led to many desperate measures have been taken to prevent a pandemic as serious as SARS. This, I feel, is essential.

What do you expect the government to do? Sit back and allow all Singaporeans to get killed? The only positive thing for non-muggers and slackers like me on a pandemic occuring is the long-term rule that we are not allowed to got to school. But then again, we will have to face danger at every corner and worry on your parents' safety. There is nothing more to say about swine flu but I certainly will elaborate on it if the situation is worsening. Byezzz~~

Poolside: Suspended?

The favourite cafe among the Ortus Sec 1s and many others have been suspended and not allowed to carry on with their business. The outside part I think. All because they wrote order less fried food and when u look at what they have for u is all fried food. Quite contradictary, but like anyone cares. We love the fried food, we practically go there when ever we are about to be late for anything and was hungry.

Ok, it does not meet MOE requirements, it is unhealthy, but it is a time saver at times of crisis. Ok, I am exaggerrating a bit, but u get my point? Almost everyone loves it, except maybe MOE, anyway, it is convenient, nice and allows us to get our food quickly without having to queue up and wait for our food at the canteen.

Anything larh, now it is banned and we will not be able to enjoy any new fresh moments there but only reminiscences of the past. Sianzzz... -_-. Sound so emo... Byezzz~~

Special People

Lol, just a random post on something I witnessed on the train.

I bet most of you look down on special people like Charlie Gordon in Flowers for Algernon or Doodle in Scarlet Ibis. In short, most look down on these people who are autistic and mentally-challenged, like how I used to look at them.

This is because I was on the MRT and there were two teens from APSN ( Association for People with Special Needs ). There was a pair of ladies who alighted at Eunos MRT. Then I walked into the MRT behind a pregnant woman with a trolley and her husband. The ladies left a pair of seats and it was only common sense to let the pregnant lady sit. But obviously some did not care.

As one of the boys sat down and gestured for his friend to join him. However, the boy was obviously oblivious to the fact that a pregnant lady wanted to sit on the seat badly. However, his friend, who remained standing, told his friends to rise and allow the pregnant lady to sit. This autistic child, despite his deformity and lack of intelligence, have much EQ in him as he have put others in front of him which was indeed noble as many normal people will not even bother about it. This took place like 1 or 2 days ago.

On the bus home today, a sporty boy wanted to alight from the bus. He was sporty reason being the fact that he had a basketball in his arms, implying that he was a sportsman. However, the boy caused the whole bus to wait just for him as he dropped his basketball, which rolled off the bus before him and stuck under the bus. He obviously knew that he was causing the whole bus to wait for him but he continued to use his legs to kick it out when he could have simply crouched down and scoop the ball up. I think that his actions were inconsiderate compared to the autistic boy.

Ok. Arsenal and Man U are out of the FA Cup. Hate this. Arsenal face Man U at the finals then is a classic. Anyway, Fabianski and Ben Foster, are they competent enough? Ok, they are young, but are they ready to play in the BPL, the toughest league in the world, the FA Cup, the oldestr cup in the world, the UEFA Champions League, where the champions that conquer Europe gather, and the Carling Cup, the English Cup, don't know how to describe.

Ben Foster proved to be a future star. A brilliant goalie that can take one-on-one situations. But can that be said for penalties? Ok, fine he is good when it comes to league games and defence. But his penalty saving ability have to improve.

Fabianski. Mistake maker and the cause of the two goals. Not daring enough to go for the kill. He is full of lice. No offence. But that goal Malouda scored was a shot that can be saved, if not blocked. The Drogba goal, he should have gone for the ball and the player and not stone and get shocked.

Project's Day Tomorrow!

Sianzzz... Project's Day is coming. Actually it is tomorrow. I am so nervous. This is a mass project that can affect the final grade. Arhhhhhh................! I can't concentrate. This is so pressurising. Lol, Actually I am not. Haha, I feel like killing myself, taking myself out of reality. Haha, this is dumb. I am so not nervous. I just hope Jona-bird won't screw up. Sianzzz... I hate project. Stuck in the com lab now, trying to write script and blog at the same time. This is dumb. Sianzzz.... Have to end here.

Water Disaster!

Ok, maybe I can't say that it was a disaster, but it was definitely a problem.

The Problem

Grady accidentally knocked Mark's water bottle and caused the floor to be wet. He tried to salvage the situation by placing some rags over it, hoping that the water will soak up. Then Miss Soh came to class and was angry as it was not an efficient way of solving a problem.

Future Implication

Someone might slip as the floor was slippery. Having slipped, he would have injuries as he will fall down.
The floor will be dirty if someone stepped on the puddle of water.

Actions Taken

Only Dylan, Brian, Mark and Grady continued to try and dry the floor after Dylan thought of a solution. Then Miss Soh was more furious as it was a class problem and not theirs.

My Thoughts

I feel that I was wrong for not lending a helping hand to those that were cleaning up the mess. This would result in the less time wasted as well as to speed up the process. We also did not show team spirit as a class as none of us, excluding Dylan, Brian, Mark and Grady, did not even bother to help. This is not a display of the team spirit sons of Hwachong should have. In the future, if such a thing happens again, I will definitely try to work together as a team.

The Great Leader ~ Lee Kuan Yew

Lee Kuan Yew, born 16 September 1923; also Harry Lee Kuan Yew and Lee Kwan-Yew) was the first Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore from 1959 to 1990.

As leader of the People's Action Party (PAP), he oversaw the separation of Singapore from the Federation of Malaysia in 1965 and the subsequent transformation of Singapore from a volatile Third World country with no natural resources to a stable, First World Asian Tiger. He has remained one of the most influential political figures in the South-East Asian region. Under the administration of Singapore's second prime minister, Goh Chok Tong, he served as Senior Minister. He currently holds the post of Minister Mentor created when his son, Lee Hsien Loong, became the nation's third prime minister on 12 August 2004.

Lee was educated at Telok Kurau Primary School, Raffles Institution, and Raffles College. His university education was delayed by World War II and the 1942–45 Japanese occupation of Singapore. During the occupation, he operated a successful black market business selling tapioca-based glue called Stikfas. Having taken Chinese and Japanese lessons since 1942, he was able to collaborate as a transcriber of Allied wire reports for the Japanese, as well as being the English-language editor on the Japanese Hodobu (報道部 — an information or propaganda department) from 1943 to 1944.
After the war, he studied law at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge in the United Kingdom, of which he was subsequently made an honorary fellow, (graduating with Double Starred First Class honours), and briefly attended the London School of Economics. He returned to Singapore in 1949 to work as a lawyer in Laycock and Ong, the legal practice of John Laycock, a pioneer of multiracialism who, together with A.P. Rajah and C.C. Tan, had founded Singapore's first multiracial club open to Asians.

Lee's first experience with politics in Singapore was his role as election agent for his boss John Laycock under the banner of the pro-British Progressive Party in the 1951 legislative council elections. However, Lee eventually realised the party’s future looked bleak as it was unlikely to have mass support, especially from the Chinese-speaking working class masses. This was especially important when the 1953 Rendel Constitution significantly expanded the electoral rolls to include all local-born as voters, resulting in a significant increase in Chinese voters. His big break came when he was engaged as a legal advisor to the trade and Students' unions which provided Lee with the link to the Chinese-speaking, working class world (later on in his career, his party the People's Action Party (PAP) would use these historical links to unions as a negotiating tool in industrial disputes).

In the national elections held on June 1, 1959, the PAP won forty-three of the fifty-one seats in the legislative assembly. Singapore gained self-government with autonomy in all state matters except in defence and foreign affairs, and Lee became the first prime minister of the state of Singapore on June 3, 1959, taking over from Chief Minister Lim Yew Hock. Before he took office, Lee demanded and secured the release of Lim Chin Siong and Devan Nair who were arrested earlier by Lim Yew Hock's government.
Lee faced many problems after gaining self-rule for Singapore from the British, including education, housing, and unemployment. In response to the housing problem, Lee established the Housing and Development Board (HDB), an agency which began a massive public housing construction programme to relieve the housing shortage.

After Malayan Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman proposed the formation of a federation which would include Malaya, Singapore, Sabah and Sarawak in 1961, Lee began to campaign for a merger with Malaysia to end British colonial rule. He used the results of a referendum held on September 1, 1962, in which 70% of the votes were cast in support of his proposal, to demonstrate that the people supported his plan. During Operation Coldstore, Lee crushed the pro-communist factions who were strongly opposing the merger and who were allegedly involved in subversive activities.
On September 16, 1963, Singapore became part of the Federation of Malaysia. However, the union was short-lived. The Malaysian Central Government, ruled by the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), became worried by the inclusion of Singapore’s Chinese majority and the political challenge of the PAP in Malaysia. Lee openly opposed the bumiputra policy and used the Malaysian Solidarity Convention's famous cry of "Malaysian Malaysia!", a nation serving the Malaysian nationality, as opposed to the Malay race. PAP-UMNO relations were seriously strained. Some in UMNO also wanted Lee to be arrested.
Racial riots followed, such as that on Muhammad's birthday (21 July 1964), near Kallang Gasworks, in which twenty-three were killed and hundreds injured as Chinese and Malays attacked each other. It is still disputed how the riots started, and theories include a bottle being thrown into a Muslim rally by a Chinese, while others have argued that it was started by a Malay. More riots broke out in September 1964, as rioters looted cars and shops, forcing both Tunku Abdul Rahman and Lee Kuan Yew to make public appearances in order to alleviate the situation. The price of food also rose dramatically during this period, due to the disruption in transport, which caused further hardship.
Unable to resolve the crisis, the Malaysian Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman, decided to expel Singapore from Malaysia, choosing to "sever all ties with a State Government that showed no measure of loyalty to its Central Government". Lee was adamant and tried to work out a compromise, but without success. He was later convinced by Goh Keng Swee that the secession was inevitable. Lee Kuan Yew signed a separation agreement on August 7, 1965, which discussed Singapore's post-separation relations with Malaysia in order to continue co-operation in areas such as trade and mutual defence.

On national television, Prime Minister Lee announces the separation of Singapore from the Federation of Malaysia on 9 August 1965.
The failure of the merger was a heavy blow to Lee, who believed that it was crucial for Singapore’s survival. In a televised press conference, he broke down emotionally as he announced the separation to the people (this particular conference is used as evidence by supporters of Lee that he had not intentionally instigated the breakup of Malaysia):
"For me, it is a moment of anguish. All my life, my whole adult life, I believed in merger and unity of the two territories. ... Now, I, Lee Kuan Yew, Prime Minister of Singapore, do hereby proclaim and declare on behalf on the people and the Government of Singapore that as from today, the ninth day of August in the year one thousand nine hundred and sixty-five, Singapore shall be forever a sovereign democratic and independent nation, founded upon the principles of liberty and justice and ever seeking the welfare and happiness of the people in a most and just equal society."
On that day, August 9, 1965, the Malaysian Parliament passed the required resolution that would sever Singapore's ties to Malaysia as a state, and thus the Republic of Singapore was created. Singapore's lack of natural resources, a water supply that was beholden primarily to Malaysia and a very limited defensive capability were the major challenges that Lee and the Singaporean Government faced.

This is a brief report and here is what I think that is great and the flaws of Lee Kuan Yew.

I think that Lee Kuan Yew is great as he displayed great patriotism after leaving Singapore for studies and came back to govern Singapore. Many others who received scholarships for education decides to migrate to that country permanently and they should learn from Lee Kuan Yew as the only resource Singapore has is manpower.

However, he made a big mistake while governing Singapore. Everyone makes mistake and at least he learnt from it. His mistake was the merger between Singapore and Malaysia but he showed much determination when he strived to make Singapore a better nation.

In my opinion, he is a good leader with more positive comments then negative ones. He definitly has the right of being included as a leader in the history of Singapore.

Ok, I am so bored. That's why I haven't blog for three days. I am really bored. Sunday did not post. i was outside all along. Monday was in my primary school mugging.

So nothing much to talk about. Yesterday I was on facebook. That's when I saw this guy's status. He said that he cannot believe Man U lost to Liverpool. i go and make him pissed. ( friend ) I say Man U sux. He reply immediately say he also can't believe Arsenal is below Aston Villa, trying to piss me off. Too bad, it did not work. Arsenal was above Aston Villa. Lololololol. Haha. Best piece of news.

Arsenal Won, so did Poo, but Man U Lost!

For the sake of Yinn Jaye, who expects me to post the match reports, I shall do so now.

Arsenal 4 - 0 Blackburn
Andrey Arshavin opened his Arsenal account as an attacking masterclass saw the Gunners to a handsome victory over Blackburn.

Theo Walcott, restored to the starting XI following a cameo against Roma in midweek, was in electric form all afternoon but the headlines will go to the #15million Russian and substitute Emmanuel Eboue, who scored twice at the end.

Arshavin netted a fine individual effort after 65 minutes and may yet be credited with a second after his heavily deflected shot gave Arsenal the after just 80 seconds, while Eboue benefited from a tap-in and a penalty.

Arsenal took inside two minutes to open their account for the afternoon, Arshavin trying, perhaps unsuccessfully, to claim his first strike for the club.

Nicklas Bendtner started things off from a deep position, neatly turning Morten Gamst Pedersen before rolling a defence-splitting pass to Walcott on the right.
Walcott raced to the byline and cut the ball into the six-yard box where both Song and Arshavin were waiting at the near post.

It was the Russian who got the first touch but a heavy deflection off Andre Oijer means it was surely an own goal.

El-Hadji Diouf, booked for lunging at Manuel Almunia, looked Rovers' most likely creator, twice finding space behind the attacking Bacary Sagna but lacking support in the final third.

There was a change after 13 minutes, Gael Givet giving way to David Dunn and Warnock dropping from midfield to left-back to make room.

But the shift in personnel did not bring Blackburn's defence to life, with Bendtner handed far too much room to test Paul Robinson from 20 yards.

Warnock himself was lucky to avoid censure when he barged the sprightly Walcott to the turf a yard outside the penalty box after he was released by Arshavin.

With half an hour gone, the Gunners on the attack again, Arshavin and Walcott dovetailing wonderfully to free Sagna on the overlap.

His cross found Bendtner at the far post but, after a moment of hesitation in the Blackburn defence, the danger was cleared.

With 10 minutes to play before the break Samir Nasri almost made it two, rattling the woodwork with a vicious free-kick.

The Frenchman went close again seconds later, striking a bouncing ball first time from eight yards and forcing an unconvincing save from Robinson.

Pedersen had a half chance to equalise with the last move of the first period but with two defenders and Almunia bearing down on him, he lost his footing at the key moment.

After the interval, the hosts came out in inspired form and Walcott, once more, was the key.

First he outpaced Warnock only a minute after the restart, getting himself into space but then dragging his shot well wide, then he handed Bendtner the simplest of scoring chances.

Speed was again the key, allowing the winger to measure his cutback after losing his marker.

With the goal gaping, the Danish striker got his feet in a tangle and made only the lightest of contacts.

And with just five minutes of the half gone Walcott made his third major impact, athletically volleying a loose ball in the area and drawing Robinson into a smart reaction save.

It was not long before Kolo Toure got in on the act, attracting a huge cheer for lobbing the ball over Pedersen's head as he moved up from defence.

But for all their dominance the lead remained at a single goal.

Indeed, it was fast becoming one of those days for the oft-criticised Bendtner, who missed a hat-trick of presentable chances in the space of three minutes and started to feel the fans' frustrations.

It was Arshavin who released the pressure.

Collecting the ball wide on the left, the January signing drove straight for goal. He ghosted past Danny Simpson, who offered little by way of a challenge, and lifted his ball expertly into the roof of the net.

This time there was no doubt over the ownership of the goal.

Bendtner, though, had one more miss left before being replaced by Carlos Vela.
A thrilling run by Walcott and a superb pass from Arshavin teed him up this time but a graceful move was denied a fitting end when the striker blazed into the stands.

To their credit, the Arsenal fans gave the misfiring Dane a loud show of support as the left the field.

Substitute Eboue, who has enjoyed less generosity from the crowd this season, poked home the third after Robinson pushed out another Arshavin effort with three minutes left.

The Ivorian then stroked home from the penalty spot after Vela was clumsily fouled by Martin Olsson.

Liverpool 4 - 1 Man U
Rafael Benitez might end up having the last laugh after all as his Liverpool side hauled themselves back into the title fight.They proved themselves with a decisive crushing of 10-man Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The Merseyside giants battled back from a goal down to defeat the Premier League leaders in clinical fashion, Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard turning the match on its head before the break, with Fabio Aurelio and Andrea Dossena easing Liverpool well clear before the end.

In contrast, it was an day to forget for Nemanja Vidic, who gifted Torres the equaliser before being sent off against Liverpool for second time this season as Benitez's side reduced United's lead at the top to four points, albeit having played a game more.

It represented Liverpool's biggest win at United since 1936 and could yet trigger an amazing championship revival.

Liverpool were the ones who needed the win and there appeared an extra sharpness about them from the start, especially Torres who gave the Red Devils defence a torrid time.

Once Jamie Carragher had recovered his composure after being unsettled by a late switch to right-back because of Alvaro Arbeloa's late withdrawal, they had the edge in vital areas, the hosts no better than their nervy first-half display against Inter Milan in midweek.

Indeed, it was a surprise when United went ahead.

Pepe Reina read Carlos Tevez's through ball for Park Ji-sung well enough but came out too quickly for his own good. When the South Korean nicked the ball away, the Liverpool keeper could not stop.

And though Reina pleaded for leniency, referee Alan Wiley correctly pointed to the spot.

Ronaldo is not the type of player to waste such opportunities and duly dispatched his 17th goal of the season.

Had Sir Alex Ferguson's men been able to hold their advantage for a decent length of time, the visitors might have panicked. But five minutes later Liverpool were level thanks to a rare mistake from Nemanja Vidic.

The Serbian has been virtually foot perfect this season, so much so that he is favourite to win the PFA player of the year award.

But first Vidic let Martin Skrtel's long punt forward bounce when he could have headed it back into the Liverpool half quite easily. Then, he failed to deal with the loose ball, allowing Torres to nip in and streak clear, beating Edwin van der Sar with clinical efficiency.

Conceding one goal was amazing enough for the Red Devils, yet before half-time Liverpool had scored again.

Hull were the last team to score more than once against United in Premier League combat - and that was four-and-a-half months ago.

But when Torres tried to send Gerrard racing into the box and Patrice Evra mis-timed his tackle, the Liverpool skipper found he converted his penalty with the same confidence Ronaldo had shown earlier.

Gerrard's glee was obvious. And Liverpool's lead was fully deserved, condemning Ferguson to his first interval rallying call in league combat at Old Trafford all season.

The Scot injected a greater sense of urgency into his team, even if there was no improvement in their retention of the ball.

Carrick in particular was having a pretty bad day, twice putting his side in danger with wayward passes.

United at least managed to generate some momentum, with Tevez almost getting on the end of a Wayne Rooney knock-back and then rolling a shot on the turn just wide.

Having expressed his 'hatred' of Liverpool earlier in the week, the last thing Rooney wanted was to suffer an immediate defeat and a chance for Gerrard - a long-time friend - to gloat.

Yet as time ticked by, that was the fate Rooney was condemned to, especially as Ferguson waited until less than 20 minutes remained before he made the introductions of Dimitar Berbatov, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs.

It is the kind of strength Benitez does not have and one of the major reasons why Liverpool have found themselves on the wrong end of a 14-point swing in fortunes since United returned from their Club World Cup campaign in Japan just before Christmas.

What Liverpool have managed to do this season is beat Chelsea and United, against both of whom they have now registered 'doubles'.

Any hope United had, evaporated within a minute of Ferguson's spectacular triple substitution as another woeful first touch, again from Vidic, left the Serbian little alternative other than to haul down Gerrard.

For the second successive game against Liverpool, it brought Vidic a red card and he was still making his way down the tunnel when Aurelio curled home a superb free-kick.

And Liverpool were not finished as Andrea Dossena lobbed Van der Sar to complete a memorable win, whose significance remains unknown.

Officially back from the Camp!

Ok, I'm back and running. I have not posted for 4 days straight, all bacause I was at a camp and was to tired to use the com.

The Camp

The First Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was absolutely, horrifically, utterly, fantastically and amazingly.........................

BORINGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We created the group name in school and Martin designed everything while we just wrote our objectives down. The firstr meal at Sarimbun was horribnle. There was a maggot in Yinn Jaye's rice, and he was utterly and absolutely...........

DISGUSTEDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then we had this activity called "Back-woods Man Cooking". The ingredients they gave us were two oranges, two eggs, two bananas, some sugar and some flour. We had to cook the banana with sugar, the egg in the orange, and make bread with the flour and some sugar. We took very long to cook it.

Then we took a slide down to the "Milo Pool". Don't misunderstand me, it's not a pool of milo, but a pool that looks like milo. It stink but was one of the most fun activities.

Then was a few team building games. Lol. First, there was a tunnel of wheels, next was a game where we had to act llike Tarzan and swing across, from a hanging wheel to another. The most fun is the low wall. We had to climb and sit on it. Mark, Chris, Ming Hao and I were pushing Martin up the wall. Then the surprise came. We had to arrange ourselves according to register number. We had no time to complete this.

This is the end of the first day.

The Second Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Area Cleaning was nothing as there was nothing to clean, the meals were all better than the first day.

We played this game called TP Shuffle. It is very fun aand was similiar to the low wall. However, we were on a log this time. We managed to complete this game. Then was rafting. Our group built the best raft, though Mark, Chris, Yinn Jaye and I did nothing. Then was Frisbee. Our team owned. Lol. The game with tigers is very fun and Samuel was so sad when he was hunted down.m Lol.

The dreaded Sarimbun Challenge was next. We completed the first two challenges with surprising ease and the third would also have unless, Brian did not halt us down. Then it rained. Lol.

The campfire was so boring. Well, except foor the songs which they keep stopping and the gay trainer went up. Lol. It was the only item which everyone hated. Lol. Then everyone packed their bags.

PS: They used my phone in the morning to check the results.

Yesterday
Decided to stop posting the crap liao. Lol. Did not really do much. Went to Grandma's house, then Aunt;s house. Lol. It was nothing much. Went for dinner. Ate stingray and rice. Lol. Then went home and watched TV. Arsenal was owning at that time. Lol. Watched the match until 2-nil then got bored. Arsenal was playing like gods.

Today
Arsenal were really gods. Watched until 11.30 last night still 2-nil. Wake up, they win 3-nil. Lololololol. School was absolutely and fantastically boring. FPSP was all about Sherman Lagoon and Sharks. Lolololololol. The lectures at LT2 were even more boring. Lol. Then Miss Gwee's talk was not really boring. Lolololololol. Haha. The rubrics is lenient I find. And now, the match report of Arsenal's game.

Arsenal 3 - 0 Burnley
An impressive Arsenal cruised to a comfortable 3-0 win over Coca-Cola Championship side Burnley at Emirates Stadium.

Fine goals from Mexican teenager Carlos Vela and Eduardo either side of half-time and Emmanuel Eboue's late strike set the Gunners up for a home tie against Hull in a fortnight's time and moved them a step closer to Wembley.

The victory - achieved with several of the first-team regulars rested and which marked a welcome return for England winger Theo Walcott after four months out because of a shoulder problem - extended Arsenal's unbeaten run to 17 games in all competitions and proved just the right tonic ahead of next week's crucial Champions League trip to Roma.

Alex Song made a well-timed challenge on Kevin McDonald as the visitors had the best of the early possession.

Eboue sprung the offside trap into the left side of the penalty area on seven minutes, but as he shaped to shoot, Burnley captain Steve Caldwell made a superb sliding tackle.

The Gunners finally took the lead with a fine breakaway goal on 25 minutes.
Andrei Arshavin latched onto a loose pass and threaded it through to Vela.

The Mexican teenager pushed the ball between Clarke Carlisle's legs and raced away towards goal. Joey Gudjonsson tugged back at his shirt, but Vela only had one thing on his mind, as he reached the edge of the area before chipping the ball over Jensen into the net.

The goal settled down the Emirates Stadium crowd - which at 57,454 was someway down on the official capacity.

As torrential rain suddenly swept into the ground, Burnley were now in danger of being over-run.

Carlisle made an important block just when Vela looked set to shoot from 18 yards.

Eduardo then chested down a through ball and burst into the box, where only a last-ditch tackle from Caldwell prevented him from extending the lead.

There was, though, a scramble in the Arsenal six-yard box when reserve keeper Lukasz Fabianski flapped at a near-post corner, which bounced off Chris McCann and then William Gallas before being hacked away.

Just before the break, Jensen tipped Eboue's angled drive around the his right-hand post.

Arsenal doubled their advantage with another well-worked goal six minutes into the second half.

Song chipped an angled ball over into the right side of the penalty area - where Eduardo had timed the run perfectly to flash in a superb volley off the outside of his left foot.

Burnley, though, refused to lie down and Martin Paterson sent a curling effort just wide from 18 yards, before Eagles was replaced by Wade Elliott.

Arsenal soon regained full control and it only looked a matter of time before the host chalked up a third, with Arshavin's header just lacking the power to beat Jensen.

Eduardo should have scored again when he was picked out at the far post by a deep cross from Sagna - but this time the Brazilian-born Croatia marksman could only head the ball back across goal and wide from six yards.

Wales midfielder Aaron Ramsey and England winger Walcott were introduced for the final 20 minutes.

Walcott almost marked his return with a goal when latching onto Arshavin's pass, but Jensen was out quickly to make a smart save.

Substitute van Persie missed his kick at the far post, before Arsenal finally made it 3-0 with five minutes left.

Song's clever back-heel put Eboue clear into the right side of the penalty area and he drilled the ball into the far corner from close range.

A header from Caldwell hit the top of the crossbar following a corner - but there was to be no consolation goal for the brave, but outclassed visitors.

My phone was officially confiscated today.

First, when I reached school, the class, was as usual watching their usual entertainment. Lol. Then was the usual assembly. Then PE sucked. Yinn Jaye was the centre of attraction as he was a pro in gymnastics. He did not want to join gym, but under the Jeremy - Coach effect, his name was taken down by Coach. Sianzzz... Jeremy, you really should let Yinn Jaye decide on which CCA he want and not be there give extra comments. Yinn Jaye waas so pissed as he appealed out of Scouts to join Air Rifle and was glad when his appeal was a success. I don't think Yinn Jaye wants to join gym. Anyway, we wasted 123456789 hours, 123456789 minutes and 123456789 seconds waiting for Mrs Chu and she was not there. Lol. Anyways, we went back to class from the lab. LA was okay and talked a lot about lit, as usual. Then Music, he was slightly serious today, nvm.

After school, met our mentor. Have to change our project topic, sianzzz... Anyway, I added the comments function. I sux. But I don't care. Then training, everything was the same.

Reached home, ate and now about to sleep.

Haha. I decided to post about my day today. Pls comment on my post.

Anyways, school was ok. First for Assembly, at the terraces, Mdm Ng told me to follow her before going back to class. She asked me what I did wrong that day. Marcus was also with me. Then she asked Marcus to leave first. Then she asked me whether my nose bled yesterday, I told her yes then she told me some methods to cure nose bleeding. Then was Cheena. Lesson was ok after that.

Then Maths. Sad case. Phone kanna confiscated again. Lol. Sianzzz... -_- I wondered if I will get my phone back again. Then RTA. The photo montage presentation. Lol. More than half the class did not do it. Jia Shin's was the one with the most details. Haha, then LA. Went through Scarlet Ibis and reviewed our blogs. Deng! Deng! Deng! Deng! Miss Soh likes Jonathan's blog the most. Haha. Gratz Jonny. My blog was also mentioned, known for spamming Naruto videos on it. Haha. Lol.

Then IS. Was the first to submit Project 4. XD Haha. The first time Samuel asked for my help. Was helping Yinn Jaye, then Mr Koh ask us to read our notes. In the end still help him. Then talked about loop statements. Didn't understand much, too chim.

Got my phone back. It going to be confiscated tomorrow.

Another Dental Appointment!

Ok, I will talk about my day in another post, probably tomorrow.

The issue I am talking about: Should the National Dental Appointment have a maximum number of people visiting the clinic and have bad communication between clinics?

Problem:

Miscommunication between the clinics. I say this as my two appointments, of equal importance, fell on the same day. They are the Root Canal Treatment and a Saliva Test. Anyway, they both are on the same day at the same time.
Too many patients at the same clinic. I was at the NDC today and the clinic was full house. Evveryone was there waiting to be seen or are waiting to pay.
Public disturbance. This was seen today at the NDC. A girl was screaming at the top of her voice and still laughed. That was very bad as the girl had a piercing voice, and screaming in a public place, widely visited, like a mad person on the loose.

Assumptions:

I think that the two clinics probably was careless and did not pay attention to the other appointments.
I think that the patients were arranged to meet different doctors in the same clinic at the same time.
I think that her parents, in this case, her mother could not control her, the mother evidently looked embarrassed.

Point of View:

I take the point of view of a member of the public visiting the NDC for an appointment.

Inferences:

The NDC does not check thoroughly for any appointments that fall on the same day as they do not keep a record of the appointments.
The NDC do not try to arrange for people to have appointments on different dates or at different times.
The girl is very hyperactive as her mother cannot control her emotions at all.

Consequences:

Miscommunication
Overcrowding
Public disturbance

The Three Problems mentioned above.

Solutions:

They could keep a record of the appointments and check the appointment cards or the schedule thoroughly befor giving the patient a date for check-up.
Since they have kept a record of the appointment schedules, check if there is a suitable date or a time for the patient to have his appointment and to also prevent overcrowding of patients.
If the girl is not one having the check-up, it is advisable to leave the girl at home or they are able to learn from professionals on how to handle hyperactive children.

The reason why I want to put up this videos as I wanted my friends to learn from Naruto's perserverance. This is the main value in this entire Anime. Naruto's perserverance is admirable as he persisted on despite losing to his opponent badly. He was at a disadvantage and was definitely not as skilful as his opponent, Neji in one of the matches.

Also, they risked their lifes for their village. This patriotism was evident from the fact that Chouji, Naruto, Shikamaru, Kiba and Neji risked their lifes against Jounins from the Sound Village. They were obviously weaker than them by a great deal. However, they persisted on and it paid off.

I hope you enjoy this battles. Sorry for some of the subtitles.

Worst Cat Mutilation Case Seen!

It was the worst case of cat mutilation he had seen in his working life.

Mr Shankar Suppiah, an animal-handling officer with the SPCA, went to look for two kittend after receiving a call from a resident of Block 550, Choa Chu Kang Street 52.

What he found horrified him - a badly dismembered dead kitten, with little of the body intact.

The find, on 21 Feb, is so shocking that the SPCA has offered a $1000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the culprit.

Mr Shankar, 41, told The New Paper, "I was expecting live cats because someone had called to say there were two kittens in the 11th-storey stairwell, at about 2pm."

"Instead, when I got there, n the 9th storey, I saw a kitten's head and four legs dangling from the skin. Someone used a knife to chop the body up."

Mr Shankar, who has been with the SPCA for two years, said he had seen many cases of suspected abuse, but never before such a degree of mutilation.

"At least once a month, we get a suspected abuse case. I've seen all sorts of dead cats, like the cat's head smashed against the wall or in an accident, or bitten by a dog, but never something like this."

There was no pool of blood at the scene, which meant the culprit had probably cut up the body somewhere else.

A live kitten, believed to be from the same litter as the mutilated one, was found on the same floor. A third kitten was found alive on the sixth storey of the block.

Both live kittens were taken back to the SPCA for adoption.

The SPCA, which reported the matter to the police, has distributed 1000 fliers through volunteers over the weekends to highlight its $1000 reward to catch the culprit.

It also contacted the town council to put a notice at the block concerned.

SPCA executive officer Deirdre Moss said a resident of the block had alerted them to the presence of four kittens wandering on different levels within the same block on the day before the dismembered kitten was found.

"There is no reason to believe that the kitten was dead before it was dismembered because on the morning of 21 Feb, the resident saw three healthy kittens."

"Before that, the resident had seen four, so there might be another kitten out there that we don't know what happened to."

Mentally Disturbed

She added, " The fact that it is cut up and brutally dismembered in an apparently systematic way strongly suggest that this is an abuse case. And the person who did this is probably mentally disturbed."

A vet's report said the kitten was 6 to 8 weeks old, but its sex could not be determined.

The kitten appeared to have been killed less than 12 hours before its remains were found.

Miss Moss referred to another Choa Chu Kang abuse case in which a female cat was found with its belly split open and its insides hanging out.

"It happend in Block 130, Choa Chu Kang Avenue 1 on 29 Nov last year and we're also appealing for witnesses for that."

"We're also looking into feedback from a veterinarian who has treated cats suspected to have been abused in the area."

"It is of grave concern to the SPCA that there could be a serial cat killer or killers in the Choa Chu Kang area and the sooner they can be apprehended, the better."

Anyone, who has information can call SPCA at 6287 5355 ext 9, she said.

However, Miss Salina Jefrydeen, honorary secretary of the Cat Welfare Society, said, "Even with rewards as large as $10 000, people are generally not willing to come forward with information."

"Maybe it's the hassle that they want to avoid, such as being interviewed by the police."

Those convicted of cruety to animals can be jaileed up to a year and/or fined up tp $10 000.

Haha. School was a total joke. First was Cheena. Mdm Ng returned us our cheena friendly letter. I got 15 out of 20. Haha. A1 for it. Lol. Samuel got 17 out of 20 and got so excited. Haha. Then recess. Ate minced pork noodles. No big deal. Then was Assembly. Haha. Was one of the funniest. Ah Hui and I were like making weird comments and started laughing. Haha. Seriously some are very funny. Too bad. I don't think I want to share them. Then was LA. Got our formal letter back. B3, 20 out of 30. Sianzzz... -_- 1 more mark A2. Samuel got the same marks as me. I ended up reading the chapter about the Jap Occupation. Lol. Maths had a surprise test. Full Marks. Haha. Not planning to study tomorrow test.

Haha. Man United won the Carling Cup. This season they can get treble. Don't misunderstand me. Man U sux, but Liverpool and Chelsea sux even more. BPL should go to Man U. Haha.

While I am typing this message, the Hwachong Softball B div are facing RI. They better win. I think they can win lah. My brother say until like the B div god. Nvm, I expect to hear good news.

Middlesbrough 2-0 Liverpool
Tuncay Sanli blasted a huge hole in Liverpool's Prem title challenge as Middlesbrough gave their survival hopes a boost.

The Turkey international struck for the second time in four days after Xabi Alonso's own goal had given the Teessiders an unlikely half-time lead.

It was Boro's first league victory and the Reds' first league defeat in 15 attempts, and was hugely significant to both clubs for starkly contrasting reasons.

The hosts last won at Aston Villa on November 9 and had not collected all three points at the Riverside Stadium since 11 days earlier, and Alonso's goal was their first in the league for 526 minutes.

However, Gareth Southgate's men were well worth a win which gives them genuine hope of escaping the drop, but leaves Liverpool's title hopes in shreds with leaders Manchester United seven points clear with a game in hand.

Liverpool arrived on Teesside with talk of manager Rafael Benitez's unsigned contract and the impending departure of chief executive Rick Parry dominating the headlines.

However, the only focus at the end of a week which brought the club a famous Champions League victory over Real Madrid at the Bernabeu Stadium was the league title which has eluded them since 1990.

Even after Boro's creditable performance in beating West Ham on Wednesday evening to book their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals, few in a crowd of 33,724 - the biggest of the season at the Riverside - were expecting a home win.

Indeed, for the opening half-hour, there seemed only one likely winner despite Gary O'Neil forcing a good reaction save from Jose Reina from Stewart Downing's 11th-minute cross.
Opposite number Brad Jones had already kept out close-range efforts from Nabil El Zhar and Dirk Kuyt as the visitors piled on the pressure, although even the craft of returning skipper Steven Gerrard, making his 300th start for the club, and Alonso could not break the Teessiders down on a consistent basis.

But when the opening goal finally arrived, it came at the other end, and ended an agonising wait for the home side.

Not since Afonso Alves' 45th-minute strike in the 1-1 derby draw with Sunderland on January 10 had Boro found the back of the net in a league game, and they needed a helping hand to end the drought.

Alonso instinctively stuck stuck out a leg as Downing's 31st-minute corner sped across the six-yard box, but only succeeded in diverting the ball past the helpless Reina.

The goal seemed to galvanise the home side, who might have extended their lead four minutes before the break when Downing robbed full-back Martin Skrtel and forced Reina into a good save.

However, Southgate's men returned expecting an onslaught and knowing there was a long way to go before they could even contemplate all three points.

Liverpool should really have been back on level terms within three minutes of the restart when Gerrard ghosted into the box and pulled the ball back invitingly for El Zhar.

However, the youngster hammered his shot high over the bar to let Boro off the hook.
Jeremie Aliadiere might have increased the visitors' woes three minutes later when he was picked out by O'Neil inside the box, but he was similarly inaccurate.

Benitez's side continued to dominate possession, but they were struggling to do anything meaningful with it as Boro's stubborn defence proved more than adequate to keep them at bay.
The game's second goal came with 63 minutes gone, and again it was the visitors who found themselves on the wrong end of it.

O'Neil slid the ball into the path of Aliadiere down the right and when he squared for Tuncay, the Turkey international guided his shot past Reina into the bottom corner to send the home crowd into raptures.

Jones saved from Gerrard and Kuyt failed to connect with his skipper's cross with the goal at his mercy as the game slipped further from Liverpool's grasp, and things might have been even worse with 18 minutes remaining.

Downing and Tuncay combined to open up the Reds once again and present Marlon King with a glorious opportunity, but Reina came to the rescue with a two-handed save.

In truth, the visitors never looked like pulling off a rescue mission as Boro coasted to a fine win.

Chelsea 2-1 Wigan
Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard kept the Blues' title hopes alive with a stoppage-time winner against Wigan.

John Terry had put Guus Hiddink's side in front in the 25th minute with a thunderous volley but Olivier Kapo looked to have killed of Chelsea's title hopes with an 82nd-minute equaliser.
But England midfielder Lampard headed a vital winner to put Chelsea into second place on goal difference above rivals Liverpool.

But Chelsea remain seven points behind leaders Manchester United, who have a game in hand on the Blues.

The contest began with a flurry of niggling challenges but referee Lee Probert refused to issue a yellow card until Chelsea defender Alex lunged at Paul Scharner in the ninth minute.

The niggling fouls continued to interrupt the football and Probert found himself having quiet words with Michael Ballack and Wigan's Michael Brown after the pair clashed off the ball.

Chelsea had goalkeeper Petr Cech to thank for keeping them on level terms in the 17th minute.
Mario Melchiot's ball was helped on by Amr Zaki to put Scharner clean through with just Cech to beat. However, the Wigan midfielder saw his low shot pushed around the post by the Czech Republic international.

Moments later Terry was booked for a foul on Zaki as Wigan continued to press for an opener.
Chelsea then survived a double scare when Ashley Cole cleared a Titus Bramble header off the line and Terry did likewise seconds later with a Charles N'Zogbia shot.

But Chelsea hit back and Chris Kirkland saved superbly to deny John Obi Mikel.
The Nigerian midfielder let fly with a 25-yard shot that Kirkland did well to tip over the crossbar.

But Chelsea went ahead against the run of play in the 25th minute. Emmerson Boyce partially cleared a cross by Lampard and captain Terry smashed home a volley on the edge of the penalty area to become the highest scoring defender in the club's history.

Lee Cattermole was lucky to escape with just a yellow card in the 28th minute when he left Mikel writhing on the ground with a reckless challenge.

Chelsea were now dominant for the first time in the game and Nicolas Anelka was just wide with a header from Lampard's 31st-minute corner.

Chelsea should have gone further ahead in the 35th minute but Lampard failed to finish when found superbly in the area by Salomon Kalou.

Lampard's shot was kept out by Kirkland and Michael Ballack was then deemed offside when his header from the rebound was cleared off the line by Bramble.

A shot from Didier Drogba was well-saved by Kirkland but when the ball rolled out to Terry, the Chelsea captain was too high with his shot.

The biggest cheer of the second half arrived when Chelsea fans learned of Middlesbrough's second goal against Liverpool.

Misfiring Arsenal were booed off after they failed to find the net as their clash with Fulham ended goalless.

Robin van Persie was twice denied by Mark Schwarzer from close range in the first half, with the Fulham keeper also saving well from Abou Diaby and Andrei Arshavin.

Fulham, though, were anything but negative - and had come close to taking an early lead through Andrew Johnson.

The goalless run - a worst since 1994/95 - has proved costly for the Gunners, who are now in danger of losing out on fifth place to Everton.

With no dedicated strike partner for leading scorer van Persie in the side, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger pushed Samir Nasri into a more attacking role in front of the midfield.

It was Fulham, though, playing with two up front, who created the first opening when Johnson latched onto a chipped pass and dragged a shot from the edge of the area wide.

Midfielder Simon Davies then beat the Arsenal offside trap, but fired his shot over the crossbar from just inside the box.

Johnson should have put the visitors ahead when he was released by a knockdown from Bobby Zamora and a brilliant touch turned marker Kolo Toure inside out.

However, the former England striker then slipped the ball wide before Clint Dempsey had a shot blocked at the near post.

Carlos Vela broke quickly down the left and fed Nasri in the centre, but the Frenchman dwelled too long on the ball, twisting and turning, before eventually being hustled out of possession.

Danny Murphy drilled his shot just over the angle of post and bar as Fulham again signalled their attacking threat.

After 35 minutes, a superb slide-rule pass from the impressive Arshavin released van Persie into the right side of the penalty area.

But Schwarzer was quick off his line to make the block, with the Arsenal striker then seeing his follow-up shot deflected behind.

Fulham were forced into a change for the start of the second half when full-back Chris Baird, who had earlier needed treatment for a what looked like an ankle injury, was replaced by Fredrik Stoor.

Arsenal moved Arshavin up front alongside van Persie, and started brightly.

However, once again delivery into the penalty area was poor.

Nasri nipped into the box on the left, but his shot was blocked behind by Brede Hangeland.

From the resulting corner, van Persie sent a header onto the roof of the net.
Bacary Sagna - whose wife gave birth to their first child yesterday - chipped the ball in from the right, and van Persie's glancing header hit the outside of the far post.

Fulham continued to look dangerous on the break and a deflected effort from Johnson looped onto the roof of the net.

Substitute Nicklas Bendtner latched onto a short backpass, and held the ball up on the goalline before crossing to the far post, where an angled drive from a tired Arshavin flew behind.

On 71 minutes, Schwarzer kept Abou Diaby's downward header off the line with his legs as Arsenal again came agonisingly close to breaking their goal drought.

Arshavin was put in on the left, but Schwarzer stood up well at the near post to tip his fierce drive behind.

Arsenal continued to press during four minutes of stoppage time, but were once again left frustrated sat the final whistle as the boos rang out around Emirates Stadium.

Ok, from the end of yesterday at around 9 p.m. , I was feverish and had a serious case of running nose. Haha. I was ill. Had a fever. Body temperature was 38 degrees. Haha. I felt good despite having a fever. Lol.

Then I was woken up at 4 a.m. to take my temperature and my body temperature was 36 degrees. Haha. Recovered so fast.

Woke up at 8 am and went for breakfast. Ate fishball noodles. Then came home and watched Naruto until episode 130. Watched utill 140 then will watch Shippuden. Every hardcore Naruto fan say episode 140-220 sucks. I will skip them.

Sianzzz... -_- Still need to redo my maths. I going to eat liao. I doubt this day would be fun. Haha. I think Liverpool and Chelsea will lose to Boro and Wigan respectively. Arsenal sure own Fulham. Haha.

The day started quite random. First, Chelsea and Liverpool beat Juventus and Real Madrid respectively 1-0. I hoped that both clubs will lose. Sianzzz... Then reached school and the ANGLES winner was behind us at the terraces and was bragging. Noob. The ABCDEFGHIJ of Kiasu-ism all from the book Mr. Kiasu. Not even original.

PE was okay and quite slack. Then played soccer during recess. Haha. Quite a fun game. Then Science. Got a B3. Haha Ryan got a B3 but downgrade to B4 becoz teacher say need minus 5 marks. Lol. Then me phone kanna confiscated. Sianzzz... jeremy sabo lah. Nvm. Got it back liao. LA was relatively fun. Got a B3 for my compre. 1 mark 1 grade down. Lol. Anyways. The other break also play soccer. Haha. Mr Tan period was fun.

Then went to see Science teacher. Lol. Jeremy and me went to see her. Haha. I got my phone back but his kanna kept by Cheena teacher. ( No Offence, Jeremy!) Then went to tech centre. Found out that Samuel created a blog called www.yinnjaye.blogspot.com. Yinn Jaye was so pissed and so was I. It was so unfair. Lol. He said on his blog something about for the sake of his friends. If he treated us as friends, he would not do such a thing like creating a blog with Yinn Jaye's name in it.

Then came the most dreaded dental appointment. Lucky I slept thru the whole procedure other than the X-ray. They also give me aneasthesia, did not noe whether me teeth still there. haha.

Home now. Going for dinner. Haha. Should have post the videos as one post. Nvm.

More Test Results Out!

Haha. Ok I will jus elaborate on what happen today and yesterday.

Yesterday
I went to school as usual and brought my squash stuff as usual, but realise that I had to go for a field trip. Sianzzz... -_- Lol. Anyways, I got my geography test back. Sianzzz... I got a B4 for it. Sux sia.

Then went to the science centre. A very boring trip I must say. We were in the lecture theatre for 2 hours. Heng got short break in the middle and we went slightly wild. Also, after the lecture got some free time. Hahaha. Quite boring.

Went back home, had a bath, go to tuition, did my maths then go to sleep. Yawn! Haha. A typical day.

Today
Went to school as usual. Arsenal won as usual and got to school and Mark asked me what the results of yesterday's games were as usual. Cheena was boring as usual and Maths was a lot of discussion and worksheets as usual. RTA was allowed to run around school to take photos for a montage and got scolded by the lifeguard at poolside for taking a photo of me and Ryan slightly in the girls toilet to show contrast. Haha. The only special thing. LA was all about going through text as usual. IS got a B3 for test. Lol. C++ quites difficults. Haha. Did a few assignments and Yinn Jaye was one of the first but all wrong. Haha. In the end, I helped him. Lol.

Next event was ANGLES. Lol. We got scolded by Mr Chen and n the end, we were accused. Lol. Ming Shi did not win. Sad sia. Ortus no top three. Anyway, Khoo Yihark won. Haha. He won third. My classmate when P6.

Reached home, had a bath and ate. Finding nice videos now. Roma lose. Haha. I thought some people, like Jong, say Roma will win. Haha. Rubbed it in.

The topic that I will be addressing today is the issue about the sale of organs illegally. I know that many of this illegal donors are in the state of poverty and are unemployed, driving them into desperation. That is not the main issue as I believe that our government are able to salvage this financial crisis among the victims of the tsunami.

However, I will say that the unscrupulous doctors behind the scene, the ones who remove people's organs without their consent are the main culprits. I also believe that the government plays a crucial role in ensuring that such criminals be punished, which serves as a severe deterrence. May I suggests that these felons be jailed and have to compensate their victims? I personally think that this is a impartial sentence.

From the account of Akram Aijaz Khan, he was administered anesthesia without his knowledge. I think that the "patient" ought to have a choice whether he wants the drug to be injected into him or her. In this incident, the accused of this crime is Dr Kumar. He paid some surgeons to take out the kidney of Mr Akram. This action was utterly irresponsible and was not needed. Also, by attempting to run away, shows how irresponsible Dr Kumar is.

I sincerely hope that this atrocities be put to a stop as soon as possible and that the illegal sale of organs will diminish in the near future.

This day started like shit. I was scolded like shit when me younger bro said shuddap. WTF. The rain of fire was targeted at me. Sianzzz...

Anyway, lessons sux. I was caught talking in cheena and had to sit in front. I ate recess with Yinn Jaye. Nothing much. Assemmbly was okay. The 36 High School Council gave talks about the initiatives for the year and then Mr Tan talked to us about 岳飞 for music appreciation. The next talk was random. LA was mundane, went thru the story about the lecherous tramp. Horny I must say. History was better than the previous lessons. had to debate on who the founder of Singapore. Then Maths. Okay larh. Went thru Week 7 assignment. Lucky dun need hand in today.

Now at home. Haha. Quite fast larh the MRT ride. Played for the first time PES on my phone. Haha. I owned. The first and second match quite random but still win. Haha.

Andrei Arshavin's debut failed to help misfiring Arsenal conjure up a goal as they were held by Sunderland.

The Russian - signed on deadline day from Zenit St Petersburg - saw an early low shot fly just wide, before Marton Fulop beat away his angled drive.
Sunderland, though, battled well, and in the end were worth a share of the spoils as the Gunners - who hit four in the FA Cup against Cardiff here on Monday night - again could not break down a stubborn top-flight defence and missed the chance to close the gap on the top four with a third successive goalless draw in the Barclays Premier League.

Chelsea's 1-0 win at Aston Villa earlier meant the Gunners - unbeaten in 12 matches before this afternoon - had a chance to make up ground in the race for Champions League qualification.

However, despite again having plenty of possession, a Kolo Toure header cleared off the line in the first half was a close as they got.

It was, though, almost a dream start when Arshavin picked up a stray pass from Andy Reid and charged towards the penalty area, before unleashing a low drive which flew inches wide.

Arsenal were working hard when not in possession, denying Sunderland space to create forward momentum.

Robin van Persie was released into the left side of the penalty box by Denilson after 11 minutes.

The Dutchman - with 14 goals so far - took the ball around keeper Fulop, but then could only watch as his clipped effort curled just off target.

Arshavin cut inside and drilled an angled shot goalwards from the edge of the penalty area, which Fulop pushed away at full stretch.

At the end of the first half, Toure sent a far-post header goalwards following a corner from the right - only for Sunderland midfielder Reid to clear it off the line.

Following the restart, Arsenal continued to build a sustained period of pressure, if without troubling the Sunderland defence in the final third.

Arshavin floated over a ball into the penalty area from the right flank, but it was just too far ahead of Bendtner.

With 27 minutes left, the Russian was given a well-earned rest when he was replaced by Carlos Vela, who moved to the left as Nasri switched flanks.

The young Mexican almost had an instant impact when his cross flew across the six-yard box and would only have needed a touch into the net.

What's so special about today? Well, nothing much. Haha! Ok, I woke up uber late, damn shiok lah. Lucky nvr get scolded. Then went to Eastpoint for breakfast. Haha, heard Tao Nan badminton team lost to Yu Neng from my bro. I was quite happy. Tao Nan badminton forever come fight with Tao Nan wushu team for space during training. ( Me in Tao Nan wushu team last time )Ok lah. I quite sadistic. But really hate Tao Nan badminton team.

Then went home and watched Naruto Anime and did my Geog ACE. Watched until the part that Aoi was defeated by Naruto, nice battle. Sasuke's chidori caused the Raijin no Ken, used by the Second Hokage, to crack. Naruto used rasengan( The Fourth Hokage's technique ) to break it and cruch Aoi. Cool sia. Found out Morino Ibiki had a bro who betrayed Konoha.

Ate maggie noodles. Sammy spam my phone about the ACE project. He don't believe I can cook. Hurt my feelings. Haha. Ok larh. He jus said the PPT I did sucked. Haha. Didn't really give a damn.

Went to play badminton. Owned my younger brother( in school team ) Pure Noobish. Lol. Went for dinner and jus reached home to write this message. Oh yeah, changed my skin as the previous screwed up. Sianzzz...-_- Still using obi64 skin. Haha.

Ok, so I had a history test and think I screwed my essay up. I didn't study. Quite typical. Art was literally very dumb. I thought it was maths. we started talking about shapes, 3-D things and faces. Then we talked about perspectives. Yinn Jaye, Mark and I were practically playing with our rulers and Mark screwed his art work up. Haha. LA was ok and Miss Lim said her last words to us. She said she enjoyed sitting at the back, listening to Jeremy speaking with Ryan about some stuff that I also noe. Haha. Jeremy is remembered for something bad. Then she jumped down the building. Haha. Jus Jokin'!
Then went to tech centre( no training ) and was there for a long time watching anime. haha. Naruto episode 101. haha. Making good progress. Chatted with Ming Xia. haha

Then went to the field and saw the Air Rifle doing their PT. Their PT serious slack sia. Run 3 rounds around the school nia. One guy so slow the senior tell him run 2 rounds nia. WTF! Bias sia! Oh yeah! he didn't even bother to run with them. Think he damn fit. Noob lah. Anyway, damn unfair to Yinn Jaye and Ryan lah. In the end, Yinn Jaye still fittest. He overtook the slow last guy. Haha, he so pro. Ryan wnted to take a bus from the middle bus stop to the one at poolside to relax. Haha, he so funny.

To my point, should seniors of the various EP3 allow their juniors to slack so much despite the fact that they are unfit? Look at my own EP3 PT, we have to do 30 suicides( one suicide up down the squash court 5 times ) despite our size, fitness level or anything else. It is 150 times up down the squash court.

Hence, the air rifle senior( noob ) should really reflect on what they did.

I'm so bored! Now watching the video on teacher tube. Now at the part on main characters. Haha! I'm blogging and doing homework, not like I am really watching! Haha!
Ok! PE kind of sucked. We went to the gym. I went on the cycling machine and the seat was too close to the machine and BANG!

My skin was scratched by the damn machine and my leg was bleeding like mad.(no offence for using 'damn')WTF!
The rest of the lesson still okay lah. Science was below average as I did not bring my notebook and had to stayback after school to help the teachers clear their dustbins. Sianzzz...-_- LA quite fun, we were talking about characterisation. Okay, I officially noe wad is round and flat characters. Miss Lim is leaving soon. Her last lesson with us is tomorrow. Anyway, good luck and bye-bye.
Ok, so I cleared the dustbins with Yinn Jaye. Then went to training. It was relatively fun. Started to train forehand and backhand in conjunction. Then we challenged each other to matches. Okay, first match I fought Samuel( iSpark ). Owned him 11-3. Then played Yan Hui( Ortus ) who got thrashed 11-4. Nicholas ( ProEd )narrowly beat me 11-9 all becoz of a service fault. Sianzzz...-_- Played Sean( also ProEd ). He learn before everyone, keeps breaking others momentum by asking his opponent to wait while his adjusted his specs. Yawn! He beat me 11-7. I asked coach if u r allowed to call for the opponent to wait. Coach says can, BUT the reffree will see whether he called too many times. Let me calculate. That guy called wait for more than 7 times and coach says the reffree will give him a warning. What a noob! Use such desperate measures. Haha. Then PT had to do 10 sets of 3 suicides. Leg damn pain sia. Then played Chin Ann( Ortus ). He lost 11-6. Haha. I quite zai compared to the others.
Took MRT today. Ryan told me he act em during training and one guy ask him to go drama. Haha. Their PT damn slack. They play ManHunt. T_T Heard Yinn Jaye pro-er than Ryan, got one bull's eye! Pro sia! 3 shots onli. Congratz.
Watched the video le. Understand everything. Dun want study history as read Kevan's blog and learn from him can liao. Haha. Going to read Half-Blood Prince for LA. BB all.

Members of the public, I am standing here as a student activist for animal preservation. As you all might know, countless of animals have between hunted down for their body parts. Some may include rhinoceros, which are poached for their horns, and cheetahs, which are poached mainly for their skin.

I, personally, strongly believe that animals should not be hunted for their body parts as medical ingredients. What are medical ingredients for? It is used to heal people, am I right to say that. Why do we have to end one's life to save another?

Animals should not be treated this way. It is simply selfish for a person to slaughter an innocent animal in order to heal another's life. Let's use the cheetah as the prime example. The world has stepped up measures to preserve this species. However, there are still some people who continue and insist in poaching them for their skin. Even though the skin can't possibly be used to make medical ingredients, we should not even poach them.

An animal is also a life. Treasure and value it. Some physicians use a murrel and stuff a medical compound in it. The murrel is then swallowed whole. This is cruelty.

My point is this. This hunting of animals is diminishing the population of many animals. Poaching is illegal. If you continue to poach, you will be arrested. There is justice in this world. The sinister will get what they deserve.

Every animal is a life. Students have to study, Adults have to work. We have a part to play for the society, animals have a part to play for the eco-system. You want to play your part, they want to play their part. Why do you want to smash their hopes of serving the environment? With this, I would like to thank you all for the kind attention.

The First Test recieved back!

Ok, the day started very mundane. First, I woke up, brushed my teeth, went to bathe and changed into my school uniform.

Yawn! Yawn! Yawn! Yawn! Yawn! Yawn!

Then I went to eat my breakfast and supplements. Then, my parents fetched me to school.

Yawn! Yawn! Yawn! Yawn! Yawn! Yawn!

Then, my heart sank when I realised that the stupid Man U thrashed Derby County 4-1. Luckily, the lousy Aston Villa, a team I hate, got thrashed 3-1 by Everton. What pleased me more was that Rafael Nadal got owned by Andy Murray 6-3, 6-4 and 6-0. Total ownage. Haha! Nadal lost! Shiok sia!

Ok, then I reached school with my spirits. Then, for History, my spirits dropped. I failed my mock exam 7 out of 15. Sianz T_T... I don't think my humanities are any good. In fact, they suck. I also failed my Geog mock exam, 13 half out of 30.

Lucky, sia. Today, I also received my maths test, not a mock. I did well. 34 out of 40. Thrid in class, Kang Le 37 and Ah Hui 34.5. Nvm lah. A1 happy already. Still need to do tuition homework. Sian-_-, tomorrow got Geog and Science test. Wonder how I fared for LA formal letter test.

Then, I was pissed off. First, Samuel called me but I didn't answer. So I call him back. Natural reaction. Then, his father told me that he went for a damn piano lesson and asked me to call him back 1 hour later. After about 1 and 3 quater hours later, I called again and his father asked me to call back 15 minutes later. WTF! But I still called back and he answered. He asked me if I had handed i my homework. Waste of time sia.

Ate my dinner liao. Still chionging tuition homework.

It's Total Defence Day! Maybe I should not bathe for the whole day in order to save water. Jus Jokin'!

The day started badly. First, I woke up at 9 a.m. and got scolded for not waking up at 8 a.m. My father wants us to wake up at about 8 a.m. on weekends. Next, I went for a haircut and had to wait for so long in order to get a 8 minutes haircut.T_T Now, I chionging my LA homework.

Anyways, it's Shawna's b'day. Shawna is the girl who Ryan has an epic crush on. She was in my calss from P1 to P4.

Young people of the nation, as you should probably know, global warming has been the key environment issue for many years. Global warming, as the name suggest, is a global issue.

Firstly, I shall give a brief introduction of global warming. Global Warming is affecting the world. The increase of greenhouse gases has cause the temperature to vastly rise. This is cause mostly by deforestation. Why deforestation is among the many causes? Deforestation cuts down large amounts of trees. Without trees, there would be less plants. Plants go through the process called photosynthesis. Photosynthesis uses carbon dioxide to make glucose, which is sugar, and produces oxygen as a waste product.Without plants, and indirectly without photosynthesis, the increase of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide is inevitable.

My appeal to you is this. Young people like you love the comfort of cars and air-conditioners. Air-conditioners run on electricity. Electricity is generated by burning natural resources. I won't go into the details. Burning natural resources requires a great deal of heating. Fire consumes oxygen. The waste product of heating is none other than the greenhouse gas, carbon dioxide. What is worse is that it also pollutes the air with smoke. Young people can enjoy comfort. Who doesn't want to? However, we should at least save some electricity and be more environmentally-friendly.

The serious effects of global warming could be the ice caps melting. The heat is melting it. It can cause the entire nation, even Russia which is the largest country in the globe, to be complete submerged. I know that even youngsters would not want it to happen.

Our actions that affect the world, would in term, affect us. Hence, we should protect the Earth. It is our home. You destroy Earth, you destroy yourself.

Even though the taximan objects strongly that young people should not be going out after school to play the fool but go home to study, he still goes and fetch them around to wherever they want.

2.What are the themes raised in the stories?
Self-esteem is a theme in the story as the teenagers are acting like whores, that does not deserve respect.

3.How realistic in this story?
Teenagers nowadays are all rebel their parents as they are getting more and more independence and peer pressure. Some peers are more rebellious and when they influence their friends, their friends also become rebellious, which is true in real life.

4.What do you think of the taximan? Do you feel sympathy for him?
No, I definitely do not feel any sympathy for him. If he wants his daughter to stop acting like a whore, he should not even go to places like Elroy Hotel to fetch these teenagers, causing his daughter, naturally, to think that her father allows others to act like a fool and she would definitely become more rebellious.

5.Do you agree with his lamenting?
Yes, his lamenting stated lots of facts in real life. Teenagers nowadays tend to be out of control and parents should be strict with their children, in order to be able to halt them from any corruption.

Processed foods are bad for health. What are processed food? Some examples of processed food are sausages, meatballs, crabmeat and all types canned food. What are these foods made from? Guess what? The sausages are made of unwanted parts of the chicken, like the head, neck and the butt. Isn't it disgusting? Think about it, some loves to eat sausages and what are they really eating? The answer is, chicken asses.

Processed food are made such that it can be kept for a long period of time. What is used to preserve them?

Killer number 1 is the large amount of salt used to preserve it. Did you know that salt is poisonous? Salt contains poisons. Yes, there's an ' s ' at the back. It contains two poisons - sodium and chlorine. Large amount of salts (quite a few tablespoons) could upset the working of your nerves with fatal results.

Killer number is the preservatives used. Research has shown that preservatives cause respiratory and other health problems.Allergenic preservatives in food or medicine can cause anaphylacic shock in susceptible individuals, a condition which is often fatal within minutes without emergency.

Personally, I hate sausages. My diet is relatively balanced. It is alright to eat processed foods in moderation. Eat more real food like chicken meat, fish or youpork(halal better not eat :P) for a healthy body. Vegetables and fruits are a compulsory. Be more mindful of what eat and achieve a balanced diet with 5 servings of cabohydrates, 2 servings of protein, vegetables and fruits and little fats.

In conclusion, exercise moderation when eating processed food.

Young people of Singapore, we have to ask ourselves, what are we living for. This has reference to the point I am driving at, setting worthwhile goals. What is the reason we have to set worthwhile goals? For example, I have worthwhile goals. My objective, my goal in life is to raise funds for children with cancer, a group of unfortunate children.

You kids, most of you, are extremely fortunate. You are fit, healthy and are able to enjoy your life. You are fortunate. Young people, you have to set goals for life. If you have no goals, what's the point of living. Do you guys know about the animation, Naruto? if you do, you must have heard of Sasuke. What's his goal? He lives to kill his brother. What is Naruto's goal? He wants the entire village to recognise him, to become the strongest person in the village. Every show, every animation, every story, the protagonist and everyone else has a goal.

Anyone watched Coach Karter? Karter had a worthwhile goal. He wanted his basketball team to excel both in academic and sports aspect. A teenager from his team wanted a scholarship, but was hanging out with bad company. However, Coach Karter changed his life. How? He obtained his scholarship after Coach Karter pushed him. Coach Karter worked towards his goal.

This is also related to the topic, goals. You will definitely have goals. A Primary 6 kid will want to obtain a certain grade. They want to get into the school of their choice. You have goals, everyone have goals, the difference between most people and Naruto is that they don't work towards their goals. The question you always have to ask yourself, what is your goal in life, what are you living for and what are you working to your goal in life.

What a happy day for Man U(I don't like them But its a fact!)! First, they narrowly beat Bolton 1 nil in the 90th minute. The win promoted them to the top of the table. Every Liverpool fan thought, they would not be top for long. A very wrong prediction...

Today morning, 4 a.m.(Singapore Time), Liverpool starts their game with Everton at Anfield. Stevie G was playing on his 250th match of captaincy. In the 68th minute, the Liverpool skipper smashed a beauty past Tim Howard. It looked as if Liverpool was about to overtake Man U and be victorious over their Merseyside rivals, Everton.

This was when disaster struck. Everton wasn't going to give up. On the 68th minute, stand-in striker Tim Cahill converted a Mikel Arteta free kick, his late header flashing past Pepe Reina. His header secured a deserved point for the Toffes. The free kick was badly given away. Yossi Benayoun clumsy challenge led referee Howard Webb to give the Toffes a penalty.

Members of the public, you should know that whaling in Japan is a norm. However, this is also causing the population of whales to decline. The cruelty of the fishing industry to whales in Japan has, indeed, led the SPCA thinking that the public should know about this serious matter.

I am a member of SPCA and I, personally, think that the Japanese, who are whaling for a source of income, should stop what they are doing. The population of whales is decreasing. Many Japanese are whaling as they require money. Even if they are very poor, they should not cause its population to become extinct.

The SPCA thinks that the Japanese should also play their part in increasing the whale's population. How should they contribute? May I suggest that the Japanese , who are whaling, should continue, if they have to, in moderation. The key word here is MODERATION. Why am I emphasizing this word? The main reason is that whaling with moderation will cause its population to increase. The lesser the Japanese hunt whales, the faster its population will increase. Despite the fact that they need a source of income, the Japanese have to think twice before hunting it down.

It has a part to play in the eco-system. The extinction of a single animal will affect the entire eco-system. Save it, protect it. We all have a part to play, don't let it be extinct.

She appeared at MOM to lodge a complaint on my mum, stating: I want to change owner but my owner don't let, so I want to complain. What did the MOM staff do?
